Schaap Advocaten Notarissen
Employees of Schaap Advocaten Notarissen who use AI are aware of the associated risks, including:
Hallucinations: AI applications may generate incorrect or fabricated information.
Lack of transparency: It can be difficult to determine how AI applications arrive at their outputs.
Dependence on quality: AI outputs are only as reliable as the underlying models, algorithms and the queries or prompts entered.
Automation bias: The human tendency to place excessive trust in the outputs of automated systems, such as AI applications.
To manage these risks, our employees always adhere to our internal AI policy. This means, among other things, that AI-generated outputs are never accepted without verification. Our employees retain ultimate responsibility for legal assessments: all AI-generated outputs are manually reviewed for legal relevance and factual accuracy before being used.
We always seek our clients’ consent before using AI. Clients may refuse the use of AI at any time and may withdraw their consent at any point.
